Water Quality Association in the USA conducted a study to see how water flows through showerheads was affected in hard water areas. They found, on average a 75% reduction in flow rate in just 18 months.

Hard water costs you more in cleaning products and detergent

With a water conditioner, you can spend less on cleaning products In fact, in hard water areas washing machines may need to use as much as 30% more detergent to clean clothes and 5x as much soap for washing in the shower.
